The fennel seed comes from the fennel herb and is a smooth digestive with a sweet anise like flavour. It has been celebrated for its medicinal properties in many regions of the world but particularly in its birth place – The Mediterranean.

Today, fennel seed is a common ingredient in loose tea blends such as chai or lactation blends, but can also be steeped and enjoyed on its own.
