WE LOVE WHOLEFOODS! Before Denise (the fantastic cook) and I (the fantastic eater), opened our store in Lismore, NSW, fresh affordable wholefoods were just not available to everyone. We had to change this. Taking a big step in 2008 we borrowed the money for our first store against the only thing we could, a heavily forested piece of land with a small shed in the beautiful Northern Rivers, our family home. A very scary thing to do but love will make you do almost anything. So our love for people and delicious wholesome food took over.
The shed that started it all
We opened our first store in Lismore, the original bulk foods store in NSW, based completely on our life long philosophy of doing everything in a fair and ethical way. Treating the environment, the land, the farmers, the food as well as our staff, customers, friends, family and each other with sincere respect and generosity whilst having fun and laughter along the way is most important to us. We are them and they are us.
