Sweet Paprika (100g)

Sweet paprika is a delicious variety of paprika made using slightly sweeter chilli peppers in the drying process.

In the Kitchen:

Sweet paprika can be used in rubs, marinades, stews or as a garnish for soups. It also goes beautifully in Bolognese, or sprinkled alongside a little turmeric & cumin spice when roasting vegetables.

Interesting Facts about Paprika:

Paprika is so famous in Hungary that there is even a ‘Paprika Museum’ in the town of Kaloscsa where apparently it is the 3rd most important place to visit whilst in Kaloscsa.

Traditionally paprika was combined with Henna to dye hair with a dark red tint.

In Spain, Paprika is known as pimenton.
