Rooibos Chai Tea (100g)

Rooibos chai contains the classic mix of chai spices including cinnamon, cardamom pods, ginger, nutmeg, star anise and cloves as well as the rooibos leaves, which are naturally caffeine free.

Cinnamon is a sweet spice that aids digestion and improves blood sugar levels in the body. Cardamom pods have a strong, pungent flavour and are calming and soothing for the digestive tract.  Ginger is spicy and warming and is a gentle stimulant, helping to improve digestion. Nutmeg is a special spice that has long been valued for its unique flavour as well as its medicinal properties. It is soothing and stimulating for the brain and digestive tract and can reduce the pain of toothache and sore joints and muscles. Star anise and cloves both have anti-microbial and anti-oxidant properties.

How to Use

Simply put the mix into an infuser or a teapot if you’re making it for more than one, using around a heaped teaspoon per person.  Let it steep for a few minutes, drink as it is or add your favourite milk and enjoy.
