Corn is believed to have had its beginnings in central Mexico about 7000 years ago from a wild grass.
Is Corn Flour Different From Cornmeal?
The only difference between corn flour and cornmeal (or maize meal) is the coarseness or consistency of the grind. Corn flour has a softer and more fine consistency than other milled maize products such as cornmeal and polenta.
