Our organic activated almonds are super crunchy and absolutely delicious. Made by long soaking in probiotic kombucha, our activated almonds are much less salty to taste then regular activated nuts but still with a subtle great flavour and delicious crunch.
Standard practice for activation:
Activating almonds refers to soaking/sprouting raw almonds in salted, filtered water for 12 hours to begin the process of germination, encouraging an almonds digestive enzymes to be activated…ultimately awakening their life force.
These enzymes break down phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors therefore making almonds easier to digest and the nutrients more readily available for our bodies to absorb. Super yummy too!
