Product Description
The Falafel is an ancient dish that is thought to have originated in Egypt and is now a popular throughout the rest of the world.
Based on ground fava beans, chickpeas and sesame seeds, our ready made falafel mix is ideal for those last minute dinners when you have nothing planned. A tasty vegetarian meal that is also very hearty so a great back up to have in the cupboard.
Instructions:
Combine 1 cup of falafel mix with 1 cup of water and mix well. Leave to set for 30 minutes. Coat a fry pan with oil and form your patties. Pan fry until golden brown (you can also deep fry if you prefer).
Recipe Ideas:
Add your warm falafels to a salad wrap using your favorite pocket or wrap bread. Also delicious on an antipasto style platter with fresh hummus or tahini sauce.
